Are you a logistics professional who prefers the precision of a manufacturing environment over the high-volume chaos of retail warehousing?

We are partnering with a premier British engineering firm to find a Logistics & Inventory Specialist to manage their mission-critical Tool Stores. This isn't just about moving boxes; it’s about managing the high-value technical assets that allow aerospace engineers to build life-saving technology.

If you have a "lean" mindset and enjoy a role where technical accuracy is more important than pure speed, this is the career move for you.

The Role: Technical Logistics & Supply Chain Support

Working within the heart of the production facility, you will bridge the gap between the warehouse and the engineering floor.

*

Production Continuity: Acting as the primary point of contact for issuing high-value tooling, bespoke fixtures, and precision gauges to manufacturing teams.

*

Lean Inventory Management: Managing Kanban replenishment systems and maintaining "Gold Standard" stock accuracy for high-spec consumables.

*

Digital Tracking: Utilizing internal ERP/Inventory systems to log every movement—ensuring 100% data integrity for audit purposes.

*

Technical Despatch: Orchestrating the weekly flow of tooling requests, including the secure, professional packing of sensitive equipment for outward transit.

*

Quality & Calibration: Supporting the Quality department by coordinating monthly gauge calibrations and managing the carbide re-grind cycle with external vendors.

Your Professional Profile

This role is perfect for someone from a structured warehousing or logistics background who wants to apply their skills in a technical, engineering-led environment.

*

Sector Experience: Proven success in a stores or logistics role—experience within a manufacturing, aerospace, or automotive "parts" environment is highly valued.

*

Systems Savvy: You are "tech-native"—fluent in Microsoft Excel and comfortable navigating complex inventory management software.

*

Process Driven: You understand that in manufacturing logistics, "near enough" isn't good enough. You thrive on following exact procedures and H&S protocols.

*

Operational Calm: You can prioritize a sudden "line-side" request without losing focus on your daily replenishment targets.

The "Industry-Leading" Package

This firm is renowned for offering one of the most secure and generous benefits structures in the UK:

*

Unrivaled Pension: A 9% non-contributory pension (they pay in, even if you don't).

*

Time Off: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.

*

Health & Security: 4x Salary Life Assurance and a comprehensive Cash Healthcare Plan.

*

On-Site Perks: Subsidized canteen, Workplace Nursery Benefit scheme, and a premium employee discount platform.

*

Career Pathing: Every employee receives a personalized development plan to facilitate internal promotion and skill-building
