Location: Catterick
An established and highly respected construction and infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join a major project based in Catterick. This is an immediate requirement with a minimum contract duration of 18 months.
The Role:
You will take full responsibility for managing all on-site logistics, ensuring the smooth coordination of materials, site access, deliveries, and workforce movements within a structured and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all site logistics operations
* Coordinate deliveries, storage, and distribution of materials
* Control site access and traffic management
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and security procedures
* Liaise effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams
* Maintain accurate records and logistics reporting
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Logistics Manager role within construction or infrastructure projects
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-security environment
* Experience working on MOD or secure sites is highly desirable
* A forces background would be advantageous
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Minimum 18 months
