Logistics Supervisor - Paris
The successful candidate will work closely with project management, construction teams, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain seamless logistics operations in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality and programme delivery are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate all site logistics activities in line with project requirements.
* Develop and implement logistics strategies to support project schedules and milestones.
* Coordinate material deliveries, storage facilities, laydown areas and site access.
* Monitor and control site traffic management plans, delivery schedules and vehicle movements.
* Liaise with procurement, construction and commissioning teams to ensure materials are available when required.
* Manage logistics personnel, gate staff and logistics subcontractors.
* Ensure all deliveries are planned, recorded and distributed efficiently across the project.
* Maintain accurate records of material movements, inventory levels and logistics activities.
* Support the implementation of Lean construction principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with company health, safety, environmental and quality standards at all times.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain a safe and organised working environment.
* Participate in project planning meetings and provide logistics input to support successful project execution
Key Requirements
* Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a Logistics Supervisor role within construction, engineering or industrial projects.
* Experience working on large-scale projects such as data centres, pharmaceutical facilities, semiconductor plants, manufacturing facilities or other mission-critical environments.
* Strong understanding of construction logistics, material control and supply chain management.
* Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving project environment.
* Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems.
* Strong commitment to health and safety excellence.
* Degree, diploma or trade qualification in Logistics, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
* SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely, CSCS or equivalent industry certification.
* Experience working within a self-delivery construction environment.
* Knowledge of Lean methodologies and project controls.
