About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our secondary school team in Havering. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support students with a range of learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with additional needs
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Support students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Encourage student independence and confidence
Assist with preparation of learning materials
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience working with secondary school students (preferred)
A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
