Contract Type: Part‑time, Permanent (Term Time Only)
Salary: Dependent on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am - 1:30pm
About the School:
We are supporting a warm, inclusive, and pupil‑centred school in Rochdale seeking a committed Lunchtime Organiser to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring pupils enjoy a safe, structured, and positive lunchtime experience.
Lunchtime Organiser - Role and Responsibilities:
Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground, and other designated areas
Encourage positive behaviour, social skills, and safe playSupport pupils with routines such as lining up, handwashing, and clearing away
Assist in resolving minor issues calmly and positively
Ensure the welfare, safety, and wellbeing of all pupils at all timesLunchtime Organiser - What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children (school, childcare, youth work, or similar)
A friendly, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
A commitment to promoting safeguarding and positive behaviour
Reliability and a caring attitude toward pupilsLunchtime Organiser - To Be Eligible You Must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Have an enhanced child‑barred list DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
