Machine Operator

Job title: Machine Operator  Location: Preston Sector: Manufacturing / Metals  Reference: ASPLIV  Experienced Machine Operator seeking to contribute strong technical skills and team leadership in a fast-paced work environment? Knowledge in and around setting and machine operation? Are you are hard-working individual and like working in a team? Then this role maybe for you. We are looking for a Machine Operator to support our client in their Preston branch to support the shop floor team. This role willy purely focus on setting and operating 3 production lines.  Key Responsibilities: Operate production machinery safely Setting up tooling  Monitor quality and output, record results and complete production paperwork  Identify faults, stop the process where required, and esculate to the team  Carry out routine cleaning and basic operator maintenance  Work to production targets without compromising safety and quality  About you: Setting and operating machinery - essential  Production and manufacturing background  Good with measurements  Good attention to detail - quality checks and paperwork  Desirable: FLT Counterbalance  Overhead crane  Experienced with changeover/fault finding Package:  Monday - Friday - 8am-4pm 23 holidays + bank holidays  Cycle to work scheme  Regular team building events  To apply, please send a copy of your CV and a covering letter to (url removed) or, alternatively, submit your application via the link below.
