Careermakers are recruiting Machine Operators for a well-established food production company in New Mills. This is an ongoing opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
About the Role
We are seeking hardworking and reliable Machine Operators to join a busy bagging team. The role involves operating and monitoring machinery, ensuring production runs smoothly, and carrying out quality checks.
Please note: This is a physically demanding role involving frequent heavy lifting throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor bagging machinery to ensure efficient production
* Carry out regular quality checks on products
* Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery
* Follow all health and safety procedures
* Handle materials and products, including repetitive heavy lifting
Requirements
* Previous experience in a production or machine operator role is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
* Physically fit and able to perform repetitive heavy lifting
* Good attention to detail and strong safety awareness
* Reliable and able to commit to the shift pattern
