Apply NowWe are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, requiring candidates who are physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work rotating double-day shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating and monitoring production machinery safely and efficiently
* Loading materials and products onto machines
* Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
* Following all health and safety procedures at all times
* Reporting any machine faults or production issues to supervisors
* Assisting with general production duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential
* Physically fit and healthy, as the role involves prolonged periods of standing and moving throughout the shift
* Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
* Must own and wear safety shoes/steel-toe safety footwear
Working Hours:
Rotating Double-Day Shift Pattern (Monday to Friday):
* Week 1: 5:30am – 2:00pm
* Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
Applicants must be flexible and able to work both shift patterns on a rotating basis.
