Machine Operator Nights Please note: This role requires working day shifts during the initial training period (up to 4 weeks) before transitioning to nights. Pay: £12.21-£16.90 per hour Location: Wolverhampton Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm (12 weeks) We are currently recruiting an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy and expanding manufacturing and distribution company based in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator looking for a secure, long-term role within a supportive team environment. Working Hours & Pay Training Period (First 3-4 Weeks): * Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 16:30 * Pay Rate: £12.21/£12.71 per hour Night Shift (Post-Training): * Monday to Thursday: 20:30 – 06:30 * Pay Rate: £16.90 per hour Key Responsibilities * Operating machinery including punch presses, bending tools, and manual equipment * Cutting materials to size using saws * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately * Completing machining tasks involving measurements and calculations * Packing and preparing finished products for dispatch * Assisting with general labouring and warehouse duties * Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting when required Requirements * Proven experience operating industrial machinery * Ability to read and understand engineering drawings * Strong practical skills and attention to detail * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Comfortable with physically demanding tasks * Willing to transition from day shifts to night shifts What We Offer * Temp-to-perm opportunity after 12 weeks * Competitive pay with night shift premium * Supportive working environment with long-term career prospects
