Machinist | Rotating Shifts | Central Scotland An established manufacturing business within the heavy engineering sector is looking to recruit an experienced Machinist to join its operations team. This is a hands-on role within a busy machine shop environment, supporting the production of high-integrity components to strict quality and safety standards. The role will involve: Setting and operating manual and CNC machine tools Interpreting engineering drawings and process sheets Carrying out machining and set-ups to tight tolerances Using precision measuring equipment to inspect workWhat we are looking for: Proven experience as a Machinist in an engineering or manufacturing environment Background in setting and operating manual and CNC machinery Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience working to quality systems and proceduresHours of work: 37 hours per week on a rotating three-shift pattern Early, back and night shifts, Monday to Friday This role would suit a reliable, practical machinist who enjoys working in a structured, safety-critical production environment and wants long-term stability.
