Our Client requires an experienced Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias), this is a permanent, full-time position. Salary: Competitive – discussed on initial phone call - monthly pay Hours: Rotating shifts – Monday to Friday - 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm Location: Hoo, Rochester Benefits include: * Discretionary Bonus Scheme. * 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays. Increasing to 27 days after completion of 5 continuous years’ service. * Pension Scheme. * Secure on-site parking. * Full-time, Permanent, Site based no remote working available Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities * Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on all machinery. * Track, organise, and complete all PPM tasks. * Maintain accurate records within the MaintainX system. * Coordinate contractors and oversee machine servicing. * Manage spare parts inventory for all equipment. * Track and organise service and contractor documentation. * Conduct routine safety inspections to support a Safety-First culture. * Support Production teams when required. * Participate in an Out-of-Hours Call Out rota. * Contribute to continuous improvement projects. Maintenance Engineer Requirements * Completed Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or similar with relevant experience. * ONC/BTEC, HNC/BTEC, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. * 17th or 18th Edition qualification. * Proven experience in a manufacturing environment. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Good working knowledge of Mitsubishi PLCs & HMIs. * Strong analytical, fault-finding, and problem-solving abilities. * Knowledge of electric motors and pneumatics. * Basic mechanical skills. * Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement. * Commitment to working within a safety-focused culture. Maintenance Engineer desirable skills/experience * Experience with Fanuc Robotics Programming. * Experience with Fanuc CNC Programming. * Experience with ABB Robotics Programming. * Experience with Siemens PLCs & HMIs
