Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias
Working as part of the maintenance team, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, electrical installations and supporting continuous improvement across a busy manufacturing facility.
The Successful Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias – Package
* £42,000 – £47,500 per annum
* Permanent position
* Rotating shift pattern
* Days: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
* Afternoons: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm
* Nights (introduced after training): Monday – Thursday, 8:45pm – 6:00am
* Overtime available
* 1.3x for the first 2 overtime hours
* 1.5x after 39.5 hours

The Successful Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias – Role
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults across manufacturing equipment
* Carry out electrical installation work when required
* Support plant reliability and minimise downtime
* Fault find using electrical drawings and control systems
* Work safely in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures
* Complete maintenance documentation accurately
* Support continuous improvement initiatives
* Liaise with production teams and external contractors where required
The Successful Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias – Requirements
* Recognised Electrical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
* Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills
* Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
* Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
* Computer literate
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
