Cardiff Monday to Friday | Double Days (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm) £43,000 + 5% Bonus A well-established manufacturing company based in Cardiff is entering an exciting phase of transformation, with significant investment and site improvements planned. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Maintenance Engineer to strengthen their engineering team. The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of manufacturing equipment across the site. The position is multi-skilled, requiring both electrical and mechanical expertise. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery Electrical and mechanical fault finding to minimise downtime Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment as part of site investment Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards About You: The successful Maintenance Engineer will have: Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Both electrical and mechanical knowledge (multi-skilled) Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills A proactive and team-focused attitude If you’re a Maintenance Engineer looking for a role with stability, investment, and genuine growth opportunities, this is an excellent time to join.
