Maintenance Engineer

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer required in Hereford, Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, Hours: Weekly rotating shift pattern 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00, full-time permanent contract, immediate start available for the right candidate.   Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical experience? We are recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing manufacturing business in Hereford. This is a hands-on role within a busy industrial environment, supporting site operations through reactive and planned maintenance on extrusion and moulding machinery.   The Role • Maintain and repair extrusion and moulding equipment to ensure minimal downtime • Provide reactive breakdown support across the site • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) • Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and mechanical systems • Support operational teams to maintain output and efficiency • Ensure health & safety standards are met at all times • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives   Candidate Requirements • Multi-skilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical experience • Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment • Experience working on extrusion and/or moulding machinery (highly desirable) • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills • Able to work effectively within a fast-paced production setting • Comfortable working in an engineering environment that can be dirty • Relevant engineering qualifications preferred • Ability to hit the ground running (training will still be provided)   What’s on Offer • £40,000 – £45,000 per annum • Full-time, permanent position • Weekly rotating 2-shift pattern • Job security within a rapidly expanding business • Immediate start available   📞 Interested?
