Maintenance Fitter

Job Role: Maintenance Fitter Location: Sheffield Salary: £36,465 per annum Metalis are currently working with a well established business in Sheffield, who are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join their team. Job Duties: Maintenance and installation of all mechanical plant and machinery on site Assemble and install machinery according to specification and ensure all components function correctly Diagnose and repair machinery and mechanical systems Follow the company PPM schedule to ensure machinery is checked regularly Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand assembly requirements Able to work alone without supervision or as part of a team Generate suitable job specific risk assessments and method statements prior to commencing work Job Requirements: Mechanical Engineering qualification (C&G, NVQ, HNC) Experience of Fitting, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Fabrication & Welding and some electrical knowledge would be an advantage IOSH Working Safely (desired) IPAF (desired) Confined space - high risk (desired) Abrasive wheels (desired) FLT License (desired Salary & Shift: £36,465 per annum Week 1 - Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm (£17 per hour) Week 2 - Monday to Friday, 2pm - 10pm (£17 per hour + 20% uplift) Rotating shifts each week If this role is of interest to you, please apply with your CV
