Maintenance Operative

M4 Recruitment are currently seeking Warehouse / Maintenance Operatives to join a well-established company based in Cricklade. This isn’t your typical warehouse role – it’s hands-on, varied, and gives you the chance to be involved in repairs, maintenance, and installation as well as traditional warehouse duties. Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and a Counterbalance FLT licence. Working Hours: Monday to Friday (08:30am – 4:30pm) About the Role: You’ll be actively involved in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, helping to ensure products are maintained, prepared, and delivered to a high standard. This role is 30% FLT work and 70% maintenance and hands-on duties, offering variety, responsibility, and the chance to take pride in the quality of your work. It’s ideal for someone practical, proactive, and confident working with tools and equipment. Key Responsibilities: * Operating a Counterbalance Forklift (approx. 30% of the role) * Loading and unloading deliveries * Working within the company’s yard * Carrying out light assembly work * Assisting with repairs, maintenance, and installation of products * Preparing products for dispatch * Conducting quality checks on finished products * Ensuring all products are stored safely and correctly within the warehouse Requirements: * A positive, can-do attitude * Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment * Must have experience using power tools * Must hold a valid driving licence * Must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence * Strong work ethic and a reliable, hardworking approach This is a great opportunity for someone practical, dependable, and keen to secure long-term employment within a supportive team environment
