Maintenance Plumber

Pay: £19.00-£22.00 per hour Job Description: Job Description – Plumber Main Purpose To ensure the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme is completed in accordance with required specifications and work packages. This includes planned tasks, reactive works, compliance activities and general upkeep of plumbing systems and associated building services. This is working at a high secure facility Security clearance will be required - this takes around 3-4 weeks. Key Responsibilities * Carry out routine and non‑routine maintenance tasks. * Diagnose and repair faults across plumbing systems. * Identify and replace life‑expired equipment. * Perform inspections, water sampling and risk assessments. * Undertake repairs to mains water supplies. * Ensure all work is delivered safely and in accordance with method statements and risk assessments. * Reduce waste and support continuous improvement across operational processes. * Ensure all statutory compliance tasks are completed accurately and on time. * Work safely at height and outdoors in various weather conditions, when required. Role‑Specific Responsibilities Duties related to plumbing maintenance, operational support and general building‑fabric tasks as required. Person RequirementsProfessional Profile & Qualifications * Full UK driving licence * Appropriate plumbing trade qualification Skills & Experience * Experience using Maximo or similar CAFM systems * Experience operating light plant and hand tools * Strong understanding of plumbing systems and building‑services maintenance Technical Competencies * Legionella Control (L8) training Behavioural Competencies * Strong safety awareness * Self‑motivated and reliable * Able to work independently or within a team * Committed to delivering high‑quality workmanship
