Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of maintenance engineers and technicians across the site.
Coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to maximise equipment uptime.
Manage and prioritise reactive maintenance activities, ensuring production disruptions are minimised.
Monitor maintenance performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Support fault-finding and technical problem-solving on manufacturing equipment.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Manage maintenance records, work orders, and engineering documentation.
Assist with capital projects, equipment upgrades, and installation activities.
Liaise with production and management teams to achieve operational targets.
Support the development and training of maintenance personnel.Profile
The Successful Candidate:
Previous experience in a Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering Team Leader, or similar leadership role.
Strong background within manufacturing, heavy engineering, foundry, or industrial environments.
Electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications, ideally supported by apprenticeship training.
Proven experience managing maintenance teams and activities.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
