Maintenance Technician
Job Overview Responsible for ensuring that site equipment and infrastructure is maintained at optimal operating condition to ensure that Safety, Quality, Productivity and Delivery objectives are achieved. Additionally ensuring that maintenance is involved as key stakeholders in delivering new investment projects to the site successfully. Duties & Key Responsibilities * React efficiently and effectively to breakdowns across the site * Competent in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic disciplines. * PPM tasks efficiently and effectively * Highlighting inefficiencies with machinery and equipment, whilst generating practical solutions * Troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions on industrial/paint plant equipment, Automated production lines, robots, lasers, hydraulic presses (Ideally, this would include experience with PLC controllers, HMI equipment machinery) * Carry out PPMs to maintain asset performance and keeping computerised logs up to date. Eg CMMS * Participating in specifying new equipment as part of the ADM investment strategy considering safety, installation requirements and maintainability of the equipment * Actively participate in root cause analysis activities * Support the training and development of maintenance apprentices * Adhering to the company's Health & Safety policy and safe working practices. * Ensure that all necessary risk assessments and method statements are in place and are adhered to when sub-contractors working at ADM. * Rotating shift pattern which will include a weekend Qualifications and Skills * NVQ Level 3 or above in an engineering discipline (electrical/mechanical) * Experience of working within a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably with power press, lasers or paint plant. * PLC experience * Ideally qualified to operate a MEWP * 18th Edition and Electrical installations/inspection and testing * Full UK driving licence essential
