As a key member of our Engineering Maintenance team, you'll play a vital role in keeping sophisticated production systems operating at peak performance. You'll work with advanced automation and manufacturing technologies, helping to drive productivity, quality and continuous improvement across a fast-paced production environment.
No two days are the same. From fault diagnosis and preventative maintenance to supporting automation projects and process improvements, you'll be at the heart of a highly skilled operation delivering industry-leading standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure maximum equipment availability and minimise downtime across production operations.
* Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
* Support safe, efficient and reliable manufacturing performance.
* Maintain and troubleshoot advanced automated systems, including:
* Industrial robots
* Automated welding and joining equipment
* Conveyor systems
* Complex tooling and fixtures
* Lifting and handling equipment
* Contribute to continuous improvement, equipment upgrades and automation projects.
* Promote and uphold a strong safety-first culture.
Profile
We're looking for individuals who combine technical expertise with a proactive, positive approach and a genuine passion for engineering.
Essential Requirements
* A recognised engineering qualification such as:
* Advanced Apprenticeship
* NVQ Level 3
* City & Guilds
* BTEC Level 3
* National Diploma
* Equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Maintenance Engineering
* Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing, production, automation or industrial environment.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-moving operational environment
