Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician, Mechanical/Electrical Dublin, near Dublin Airport €54,000 plus 30% shift allowance + bonus and benefits 4 on 4 off, rotating shifts. We are recruiting multiple Maintenance Technicians for a brand-new automated depot opening near Dublin Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a modern, highly automated site. This role is ideal for candidates seeking structured shift work with extended time off between rotations. Key Responsibilities * Planned preventative maintenance, PPM, on automated plant and equipment * Reactive electrical and mechanical fault finding * Maintenance of PLC-controlled systems and automated machinery * Reading and interpreting electrical schematic drawings * Coordinating maintenance activities to minimise downtime * Liaising with operations teams and control room staff * Ensuring equipment is repaired and returned to service efficiently * Completing maintenance documentation accurately * Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations Requirements * City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering * Strong background in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance * Knowledge of 17th or 18th Edition electrical regulations * Experience working with PLC-controlled systems * Ability to fault find using electrical schematics * Good understanding of industrial health and safety standards * Able to work 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights, including weekends * Full driving licence This is a hands-on Maintenance Technician role offering long-term stability, competitive salary, structured shift work, and the opportunity to join a brand-new automated facility from launch
