Maintenance Technician
The Role
Working as part of a close-knit team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment across the site. This position is mechanically biased, general mechanical maintenance, rather than heavily electrical or control-based work.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery and equipment
* Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime
* Respond to breakdowns and perform effective fault finding
* Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and report recurring issues
* Work collaboratively with production teams to improve equipment reliability
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
About You
* Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering.
* Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment
* Strong mechanical maintenance skills
* Ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently under pressure
* Good communication and teamwork skills
Desirable:
* Engineering apprenticeship
* Basic electrical or PLC fault-finding knowledge
Applicants with vehicle maintenance or automotive mechanical experience are encouraged to apply, skills are highly transferable to this role.
