A primary school in Penarth is looking to appoint a male Year 5 teacher to take on a class from after the Easter break through to the end of the academic year. The Role Full teaching responsibility for a Year 5 class Planning and delivering lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales Monitoring pupil progress and adapting lessons where needed Working closely with teaching assistants and senior staff Maintaining a structured and engaging classroom environment School Overview Well-established primary school in Penarth Recent Estyn inspection outcomes include: Standards – Good Wellbeing and attitudes to learning – Good Teaching and learning experiences – Good Care, support and guidance – Excellent Leadership and management – Excellent Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching Key Stage 2 Male teacher required for this role Confident managing a Year 5 class Strong classroom management and organisation DBS & EWC registration What Teaching Personnel Offers £172.98 daily rate, paid weekly via PAYE Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Access to CPD and training opportunities Potential for further long-term roles in local schools If you are available after Easter and looking for a Year 5 teaching role in Penarth until the end of the academic year, apply below or contact .
