M&E Compliance Manager
M&E Compliance Manager West London £75,000 Our client who is a well established Maintenance Provider who are looking to add an experienced M&E Compliance Manager to join a team in West London. Please note that our client requires the Compliance manager to come from a technical background. M&E Compliance Manager Duties: Administer the client Permitting System (TAP) for our client and contractors. Train staff on use of the permitting system. Act as the main contact for permitting escalations across the estate. Advise our client and account team on permitting and system improvements in line with legislation and best practice. Develop and maintain controls to ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements. Monitor and improve the effectiveness of compliance controls. Review procedures and reports to identify risks and non-conformities. Draft and implement policies, toolbox talks and RAMS. Work with corporate counsel to ensure regulatory compliance. Report monthly to the client HSQE representative on near misses, incidents and SLA performance. Identify health, safety and compliance issues and provide guidance or training where required. Keep up to date with regulatory changes and best practices. Prepare reports for senior management and regulators as required. Maintain statutory logbooks and schedule third-party inspections. Conduct audits and ensure actions are closed out. Work closely with the client on internal and external compliance matters. M&E Compliance Manager Requirements: Technical background with a minimum City & Guilds Level 3 trade qualification or equivalent. Minimum 10 years’ engineering experience. Ideally holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. NEBOSH certification or higher Health & Safety qualification. At least 5 years’ experience in Permit Management or proven experience managing permit systems. Demonstrated experience working as a Compliance Manager or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements. Comprehensive knowledge of Internal ISO Auditing. Strong understanding of the Fire Safety (Regulatory Reform) Order and Building Safety Act.
