M&E Estimator

Our client is a well-established engineering business delivering mechanical, electrical and instrumentation solutions across a wide range of sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an M&E Estimator to support tendering activities across diverse project environments.    Role Overview You will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for mechanical and electrical building services packages. This includes reviewing technical documentation, conducting take-offs, and engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure commercially competitive submissions.    Key Responsibilities Prepare cost estimates for M&E works Interpret drawings and specifications Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors Support value engineering and project planning Contribute to tender submissions across multiple sectors Requirements Experience in M&E or building services estimating Strong technical understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems Ability to interpret technical documentation Knowledge of UK building regulations Experience with estimating software and AutoCAD (desirable) UK Driving Licence Desirable Experience in renewable energy projects Exposure to industrial or regulated environments    This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation working on technically varied and forward-looking engineering projects
