Are you ready to shape the future of the UK's infrastructure? Our Client is hiring a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join the dynamic joint venture team . The circa £1bn project will include the delivery of underground platforms as well as up to eight platforms . The main purpose of this role is to Support the Commercial Management of the Works Packages for the Utilities Division.

Your Role:
Drive commercial excellence within the Utilities Division by:

Estimating:

Reviewing tenders and cost data

Preparing revised project forecasts

Project Management:

Managing monthly CVR and commercial reports

Reporting commercial progress to senior staff

Producing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion and final value

Monitoring projected costs to align with budgets

Ensuring timely information exchange between customers, subcontractors, and departments

Overseeing cash flow and valuation plans to ensure timely and accurate applications

Procurement:

Advising on alternative forms of contract and procurement arrangements

Commercial Management:

Managing commercial risks, opportunities, and disallowed costs

Awareness of dispute resolution options, structure, and the SCL Protocol

Applying legislation and liaising with legal experts

What We're Looking For:

Proven NEC contract experience (Essential)

Experience within major Civil Engineering projects
Valid CSCS card

BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience

RICS, ICES, or CIOB membership

Eligibility to work and live in the UK
