This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and stable engineering business producing high-precision components for a range of industries. The successful candidate will have strong experience operating manual Jones & Shipman cylindrical grinding machines and be confident working to tight tolerances.
The Role
* Setting and operating manual Jones & Shipman cylindrical grinding machines.
* Grinding precision components to tight tolerances.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
* Inspecting finished components using measuring equipment.
* Maintaining high quality standards throughout production.
* Working safely and keeping the work area clean and organised.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Manual Cylindrical Grinder.
* Experience operating Jones & Shipman grinding machines is essential.
* Ability to work to fine tolerances.
* Confident reading engineering drawings.
* Excellent attention to detail and quality.
* Reliable with a strong work ethic.
