The Role
The Manual Turner will be responsible for producing high-quality components within a machine shop environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Setting and operating manual lathes
Producing one-off and small-batch precision components
Working from engineering drawings
Measuring and inspecting parts to tight tolerances
Maintaining a clean, safe working environment
About You
To be suitable for this Manual Turner role, you will need:
Proven experience as a Manual Turner
Confidence working from technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
A reliable, self-motivated approach
Experience using Colchester manual lathesDesirable:
Welding experience
