Senior Manufacturing Engineer – 5‑Axis Milling & Mill‑Turn Tewkesbury Competitive Salary (circa £55k) Day Shift Actio Recruitment A well‑established aerospace manufacturer in the Tewkesbury area is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer with strong expertise in 5‑axis milling, mill‑turn machining, and programming in Siemens NX. This is a key technical role supporting advanced machining operations. The Role You will lead the development, optimisation, and support of complex milling and mill‑turn processes, ensuring exceptional precision and efficiency for aerospace components. Key Responsibilities * Developing and optimising CNC programs using Siemens NX * Supporting and improving machining processes on Mazak and Okuma 5‑axis and mill‑turn machines * Driving continuous improvement across tooling, cycle times, and machining strategies * Troubleshooting complex machining issues and supporting operators on the shop floor * Collaborating with design, production, and quality teams to ensure robust manufacturability * Leading process development for new product introduction About You * Strong background in 5‑axis milling and mill‑turn machining * Experience with Mazak and Okuma machine tools * Skilled in Siemens NX programming * Aerospace or similarly regulated precision‑engineering experience preferred * Confident working in a senior or lead engineering capacity * Analytical, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement What’s on Offer * Competitive salary (circa £55,000, depending on experience) * Day shift working pattern * Opportunity to join a respected, long‑established aerospace manufacturer For more information contact Actio Recruitment or apply here.
