Apply NowOur client is expanding their engineering team and is seeking a practical, hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support production and help optimise CNC machining processes across a busy aerospace manufacturing environment.
You'll take ownership of your own products, leading New Product Introduction (NPI), developing manufacturing processes, providing hands-on support for CNC machining operations, creating engineering documentation, and driving continuous improvement across a variety of precision-manufactured aerospace components.

Job Description
Manage your own products from New Product Introduction (NPI) through to production
Provide hands on support and work to improve manufacturing processes for machined components
Create and maintain manufacturing routings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), SOPs and documentation
Produce FAIR documentation and support PPAP/NPI activities
Develop PFMEAs, Control Plans and Process Flow documentation
Lead root cause investigations using 5 Why, 8D and other structured problem-solving techniques
Identify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency through automation and AI technologies

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently
Experience with CNC Machinery
Proactive attitude with the confidence to take ownership of projects
