This is a hands-on, influential role focused on driving operational excellence, optimising complex manufacturing processes, and supporting major product industrialisation programmes. Key Responsibilities of Manufacturing Engineer Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement Lead and deliver major CI initiatives using Lean tools such as Kaizen, SMED, Six Sigma, 5S, 8D, and Value Stream Mapping Identify waste, implement process optimisation strategies, and embed best practice across the production area Drive error-proofing, process control improvements, and robust standardisation Manufacturing Engineering & NPI Support Develop, validate, and refine manufacturing processes to meet demanding quality and compliance standards Support New Product Introduction activities from early concept through to industrialisation and launch Specify, commission, and validate manufacturing equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixturesCost, Performance & Investment Deliver cost reduction through value engineering, cycle time improvement, and automation opportunities Prepare CapEx justifications, create investment proposals, and support project delivery Provide technical input into long-term capital planning About You You're an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who is disciplined, analytical, and proactive. You enjoy solving complex production issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and influencing continuous improvement on the shop floor. You bring a practical mindset, strong stakeholder communication, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
