Materials Technician (Plate Load & CBR Testing) 📍 Manchester (Field-Based) 🕒 Contract – 40 hours per week (Overtime & weekends paid) 🔁 Potential to become permanent We’re looking for an experienced Materials Technician to carry out Plate Load and In-Situ CBR testing across civil engineering and construction sites in the Manchester area. Key Duties: * Perform Plate Load & CBR testing on site * Set up, operate and maintain testing equipment * Accurately record and submit test results * Work closely with site engineers and project teams * Ensure full compliance with H&S and industry standards Essential: * Hands-on experience performing CBR and/or Plate Load Testing. * CSCS card * Full UK driving licence (fieldwork and travel required).
