Mathematics Teacher
Start: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000 – £47,511 (dependent on experience)
An independent school in Milton Keynes is looking to appoint a Head of Mathematics to lead a well-established department from September 2026.

The Role
* Lead and develop the Mathematics department
* Drive high-quality teaching and learning across KS3–KS4
* Plan and implement an engaging and rigorous curriculum
* Monitor progress and implement effective intervention strategies
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations, including mock assessments
* Line manage staff and support professional development
* Contribute to whole-school improvement and academic standards

The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
* Experience teaching across KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)
* Previous leadership experience or readiness to step up
