The Role Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum Plan, prepare and assess pupils’ work to support progress and attainment Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives Recommended CPD Video: Teaching Mixed Ability Classes - Part 2 - Planning Mixed Ability Classes Key Responsibilities Monitor and track student progress using effective assessment strategies Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policy Support pupils of varying abilities, including SEND and EAL learners Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and carers Recommended CPD Video: How to Handle a Disruptive Class in School - The Ignore, Divert and Challenge Method Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding A commitment to continuous professional development Recommended CPD Video: Effective Modelling in the Classroom Why Join This School?
