Mechanical / Process Engineer (Thermal Systems) 📍 Midlands (Exact location confidential) 💰 £50,000 – £65,000 (DOE) 🕗 Day Shift | Permanent We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical / Process Engineer to join a specialist engineering business operating within thermal and process-based systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-value, technically challenging projects, focusing on the design and optimisation of industrial equipment. The Role * Designing mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD (Autodesk / SolidWorks) * Supporting the development of thermal and combustion-based systems * Working on process optimisation, airflow and temperature performance * Carrying out CFD / thermal analysis where required * Collaborating with internal teams across engineering and production * Supporting testing, commissioning and problem-solving activities Requirements * Background in Mechanical or Process Engineering * Experience within thermal systems, furnaces, heat treatment or combustion environments * Strong understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics and airflow * Experience with 3D CAD software (Autodesk preferred) * Exposure to CFD or thermal modelling Desirable * Knowledge of industrial standards (e.g. EN 746 or similar) * Experience with gas systems, burners or ducting * Background within high-temperature or process industries What’s on Offer * Competitive salary depending on experience * Permanent role with long-term progression * Opportunity to work on specialist engineering projects * Supportive and technically driven environment Apply Now If you are a Mechanical or Process Engineer with experience in thermal or process systems and are looking for your next challenge, please apply with your CV or contact Robbie at Elevata for more information
