Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Operative Location: Calne Job Type: Ongoing Contract Hours: Monday-Thursday: 06:30-15:00 Friday: 06:30-12:00 About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer within the rail industry, seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly Operative to join their HVAC overhaul and assembly department. This role is ideally suited to candidates with a background in mechanical engineering, rail, or HVAC systems, who are comfortable working in a structured, quality-driven shop floor environment. Key Responsibilities Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for the overhaul, rebuild, and reassembly of railway air conditioning units, ensuring all work meets defined specifications and quality standards.
