Apply NowWe have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a specialist engineering and manufacturing business focused on developing innovative equipment and technologies. This role will support the full product lifecycle, from research and concept development through to detailed design, testing and validation, ensuring robust and manufacturable engineering solutions are delivered.
This position would suit a Design Engineer with experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical environments who enjoys working on product development and innovation. It will appeal to someone who is confident using CAD software, solving complex engineering challenges and working collaboratively across design, testing and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Research and develop new engineering concepts, technologies and materials to support innovation
* Produce detailed 3D and 2D designs using CAD software, from concept through to manufacture
* Support prototyping, testing and validation of new and existing products
* Create and maintain technical documentation including reports, specifications and design records
* Ensure designs meet required standards, regulations and internal quality processes
In return you'll receive a salary up to £43k depending on experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension (up to 7% employer contribution), Medicash healthcare + additional benefits.
