Overview
Opportunity for a hands-on mechanical maintenance engineer to join a manufacturing site, supporting plant reliability through a mix of reactive, PPM delivery and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault finding on hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, bearings and gearboxes
Complete PPM activities and support plant installations
Identify root causes and drive reliability improvements
Work closely with production to minimise downtime
Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safe systems of work
Requirements
Time served Mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent
Background in manufacturing or industrial environments
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
Experience across mechanical drives, hydraulics and pneumatics
Team-focused with a proactive approach
