I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a growing, fast-paced Design & Build contractor delivering projects across the building services sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical estimating background who thrives in a fast-track environment, enjoys working to tight deadlines and wants to be part of a business delivering high-quality projects from pre-construction through to completion.
🔧 The Role:
*
Preparing accurate mechanical estimates and cost plans for Design & Build projects.
*
Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
*
Producing detailed take-offs and bills of quantities.
*
Obtaining and reviewing subcontractor and supplier quotations.
*
Identifying cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
*
Working closely with the design, commercial and project delivery teams.
*
Managing multiple tenders and deadlines in a fast-track environment.

Previous experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the M&E / MEP industry.

Experience pricing Design & Build projects.

Strong understanding of mechanical building services installations.

*
Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
