Mechanical Fitter We are working with leading UK Clients with multiple sites nationwide, supporting their ongoing automation and intralogistics projects such as conveyor systems, sortation lines, robotic material handling systems, airport baggage systems and automated warehouses. They are seeking multi-skilled Mechanical Installers / Mechanical Fitters to install mechanical equipment used in automated environments. Key Responsibilities Mechanical installation of conveyor systems Assembly and installation of mechanical equipment Installation of rollers, belts, motors, gearboxes and drive units Alignment and fitting of conveyor frames and structures Mechanical assembly from engineering drawings Supporting continuous improvement initiatives Ensuring minimal downtime and smooth site operations About You The successful candidate will have experience within industrial, manufacturing or production environments and a strong understanding of assembly and installation. You will be flexible, proactive and possess a positive, can-do attitude. 5 20+ years installation experience Used to working on large industrial installation projects NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship CSCS Card IPAF / MEWP
