Apply NowOur client, operating within the chemical manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to support ongoing maintenance and plant reliability activities.
Responsibilities:
Planned and reactive maintenance on pumps, compressors, valves and rotating machinery
Mechanical fault diagnosis and repair
Installation of new plant equipment
Compliance with strict health and safety procedures
Accurate documentation of maintenance work Requirements:
NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering or time-served apprenticeship
Experience within chemical, petrochemical or regulated process industries
Strong understanding of pneumatic systems
Proven fault-finding ability
Knowledge of permit-to-work systems
