Job title: Mechanical Fitter Job location: Derby Salary: Up to £40,000 Hours per week: 38.5 Duration: Permanent Start date: ASAP Client Summary: A leading name within the Rolling Stock / Rail repair and modifications sector. Position Summary: Working as a mechanical fitter in the overhaul of key rolling stock components including Bogies and Wheelsets. Duties can include: Working in teams to diagnose, fault find and repair Bogies and Wheelsets inside an Overhaul program Using appropriate tools to Strip /Re-build mechanical assemblies. Inspection of mechanical elements required for repair Routine PPM, reactive and minor repair Person Profile/Experience: Apprentice Trained (Level 3 in relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline) Experience within Rolling Stock / Rail Industry Qualifications: Level 3 in Engineering / Maintenance / Mechanical Field Contact Information: James Bell Email: (url removed)
