Apply NowOur client is a well established, family run manufacturing business, supplying products across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their on site engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organisation with a strong reputation and low staff turnover. You will be part of a small, close knit maintenance team responsible for keeping production machinery running efficiently.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance across a range of production machinery.
* Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
* Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repairs.
* Work as part of a small maintenance team to support production operations.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards.
* Assist with continuous improvement activities where required.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
* Mechanical engineering background with a strong hands on approach.
* Level 2 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Experience carrying out maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment.
* Good fault finding and problem solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a small team.
* Flexible and proactive attitude.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Benefits:
* Salary £40,000 - £42,000 depending on experience.
* Overtime payable
* Working hours Monday to Friday, 7am – 5pm.
* Overtime available.
* 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
