Mechanical Project Manager
Client: Working throughout several sectors including commercial, residential, education, and data centres, the business has seen a significant amount of growth in the last 10 Years. With a traditional engineering mindset and reinvestment into new principals, the business expects 2026 to be a similar period of growth. After a successful year they are now looking to increase turnover to £75M, consequently they are looking to expand their operations team. Despite their size, my client are a family owned and run business, and this is a trait they pride themselves on with well over 80% of their clients using them on multiple occasions because of the nature of the business. I am currently working the behalf of their fast-paced fit out division specialising in projects ranging from £0.5m - £8m MEP value typically within the commercial office sector. They are seeking a Mechanical project Manager to work on projects in the heart of London. Role/Responsibilities: * Management of subcontractor labour * RFI’s and technical submittals * All health and safety * Review and amend RAMS * Design Review liaising with consultants, client and main contractor Snagging * Testing and commissioning * Driving job * Procurement * Leading the project from a commercial aspect * Chairing meetings internally and externally * Management of commissioning stages and project handover to the client * Tender review and validation The ideal candidate: * Will be familiar working in a fast pace environment * Experience managing projects to a minimum of £2m within your own discipline * A minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role * The candidate will show longevity in previous employment In return they offer: * Traditional, privately owned contractor with a family feel to it. * Given autonomy and responsibility to run projects and deliver a portfolio of works. * A healthy pipeline of work – our client has secured the majority of their turnover for next year. * Join a stable business who have an excellent staff attrition rate. * A very competitive basic salary, package and an excellent bonus scheme
