Mechanical Shift Lead

This role is working in a brand new state of the art paper converting facility, with exciting plans for rapid expansion in the near future Job Overview -Leading a multidisciplinary team of operators. -Operating equipment to the required standards while achieving set production targets. -Performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, including tissue converting machinery, packaging equipment, and ancillary systems. -Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical faults, implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime. -Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely. -Collaborating with production teams to minimise downtime and address issues, while documenting maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations. -Assisting with new equipment installations and managing contractor relationships. -Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and developing maintenance procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. -Performing basic production operator tasks as required.
