We're seeking a skilled Site Mechanical Engineer to join a growing, service-focused team working across a diverse range of mechanical systems. If you enjoy problem-solving, working on-site, and taking ownership of your work, this could be the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role in keeping critical systems running smoothly, including:

Servicing, maintaining, and repairing pumps, motors, fans, and rotating equipment
Carrying out bearing replacements and mechanical seal changes
Working on pumping stations, including sewage systems and associated equipment
Lifting and clearing pumps, inspecting float switches, and checking control systems
Diagnosing faults and delivering effective, long-term solutions
Interacting directly with customers and representing the business on-site

This is a field-based role with local travel (range of approx 50 miles), offering real variety and autonomy.

What You'll Need

Solid experience working with pumps, motors, inverters, and mechanical systems
Understanding of electrical panels and control systems
Proven experience in pump and motor overhauls (5+ years preferred)
Comfortable working on-site and liaising with customers
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to work at height or in confined spaces (training provided)

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am-4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am-3:30pm
(30-minute lunch break each day)
