I'm currently supporting a leading aerospace engineering programme seeking an experienced Mechanical Stress Engineer to support aircraft interior modification and certification activities.
This contract role would suit someone with strong aviation structures/stress experience, particularly within aircraft interiors and EASA certification environments.
Key experience sought:
* Aircraft structures/stress engineering background
* Strong knowledge of EASA CS-25 / FAR 25
* Aircraft interior modifications experience (seating, monuments, galleys, lavatories, PSUs etc.)
* Structural substantiation and certification documentation
* FEA and hand calculations
* Experience within a Part 21J Design Organisation highly desirable
The role involves delivering certification-ready substantiation packages for aircraft modifications while working closely with global engineering teams.

π’ Hybrid model - typically 3 days onsite with flexibility
π Immediate start preferred (July 2026)
π No clearance required (UK Right to Work only)
