Mechanical Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Mechanical Supervisor to support ongoing commercial refurbishment and CAT A / CAT B fit-out projects. This is a site-based contract role suited to a hands-on supervisor with a strong background in fast-track commercial environments. The Role * Oversee mechanical installation works including HVAC, pipework, plumbing and ventilation * Supervise subcontractors and site operatives * Ensure works are delivered in line with programme and technical drawings * Maintain high standards of health & safety on site * Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings * Liaise with Project Managers, main contractors and other trades * Manage quality inspections and assist with commissioning and handover Requirements * Proven experience supervising mechanical packages on commercial refurb/fit-out projects * Strong knowledge of HVAC and building services installations * Experience in live commercial environments * Valid SSSTS or SMSTS * CSCS Supervisor/Manager card * Ability to read and interpret drawings * Strong organisational and communication skills Contract Details * Freelance / self-employed basis * Competitive day rate (DOE) * Immediate start available * Ongoing project pipeline * Weekly pay
