Mechanical Technician

Role – Mechanical Technician Type – Permanent Location – Wiltshire Salary – £40,000 - £47,000, dependent on experience My client designs and manufactures engineering equipment and machinery, and they are looking to take on a Mechanical Technician, on a permanent basis, in the Wiltshire area. The Mechanical Technician will ideally have the following attributes: Knowledge of MIG / TIG Welding Strong machining experience – knowledge of centre-lathes, turret mills, pillar drills etc. Experienced working in a workshop environment Mechanical Assembly and Manufacturing skills Able to read and work to Engineering Drawings Knowledge of special purpose machinery Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Team player  The Mechanical Technician role will involve: Mechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment Working with special purpose machinery Working to project specifications and deadlines Participating in technical training Working to procedures and instructions Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues  If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible
