The below job description will outline this position of: Mechanical Technician Typically, this person will work primarily in-house with occasional site/field work. You will be involved in the repair, overhaul, maintenance and servicing of mechanical transmission equipment plus associated products. Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Technician: * You Will: Strip, examine, diagnose, and repair equipment based in the workshop * Carry out repairs, maintenance and servicing at customer premises or other sites when required. * Work on a wide range of marine and off-highway driveline systems and components. * Adhere to all company working practices, safety standards and reporting procedures. * Complete all required job documentation and any other tasks as assigned. Qualifications and requirements for the Mechanical Technician: * A recognised qualification or proven industry experience in mechanical engineering. * Sound knowledge of general engineering equipment service and repair; driveline experience is an advantage. * Competent in using measuring equipment. * Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems beneficial. * Full driving licence. * Passport This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical Ltd who have been appointed to act as a recruitment partner for this role
